To Beef or not To Beef by No-One

To Beef or Not To Beef?
(by No-One)

I can't recall a time in living memory when relations between producers, artist's, promoters, managers and the fans in Otjiwarongo was so bad. There has been a complete breakdown of co-operation and a rapid rise of bottled emotions between one another.
The consequences of all this vibe killing studio sessions, lack of giving your artist the sound he/she/they deserve, sidelining fellow musicians or going around door to door fabricating lies about your fellow musician or human (not to say hatred is mutual or the case). The deal is confrontation isn’t implemented, the truth will never be presented. People will never learn to keep their lanes and do them.
When I conveyed my dismay to my friend in the early hours of 4am Thursday(6th of June), he answered that in this respect of music that Otjiwarongo produces, beef is better off ignored. For when I say ignorance is bliss Otjiwarongo is too small for this kind of controversy but yet it continues silently sometimes in your face.
Meetings were held in the near past to try and figure out what was there to do about it all but with no avail.
The Democrats (Negative One's) as I like to call them still continue with the story mixing, backstabbing and unprofessional breakdown of productivity whilst
The Visionaries (Positive One's) keep doing what God intended them to do, be an Example to the young, using talent where talent is needed and most of all showing the rest of Namibia that not only did Maszanga (Hasho, Pedro & Key) come from Otjiwarongo which maybe they and some may have forgotten (lol) Otjiwarongo being the home of miracle kid and hit maker of To My Girlfriend, Kaanave and Story of my Life (which has a video on the way) Tulisan or as I like to call him Waka Li Mask then Obie And Jayden being the freshmen on the scene and blowing away more than just hate-filled residences of Otjiwarongo not forgetting all the household names like Kalux, Taeni Real, Ab-Pro, Preezy, Carlito, Jane&Noxi, BlizzVideos, Kallo and many more not mentioned who try to uplift the music in all of us in their own and very different ways.
Gone are the days when the two parties would collaborate to make a song for the “just” reasons. Gone are the days when the two parties would go to a show, perform and the next day talk and laugh about all the blunders. Now all you get is artist wanting to get performance platform last minutes and when they don’t get it they get angry. Now two parties share the same studio but both have a different vision. I say prosecute a war or tackle an economic crisis because where money is involved nothing is impossible. Is the root of all evil money as they say no your brain is. The devil is a liar you just don’t see it.
Now, my initiative is to make this public and justify what really the problem is so I went out of my way and questioned a few producers, artists, video producers and promoters asking them:

“How Do You Feel About All The Beef  Controversy Surrounding Otjiwarongo”?

This is what they said:

Abraham Ab-Pro Amushila
(Producer-Instrumental)
First of all we finaly getting somewhere, artists ,producers ,show organisers, sponsors and even an audience have been built. It took us more than 8 years counting from 2006. I don't feel good about it and will rather not even get involved, I'll work with each and every artist prepared to pay consultation fees. On the other hand I'd like to encourage everyone that when beef starts we look disorganised and therefore possible sponsors will take us for a joke. Therefore we need to set up a meetng to address the issue, competition is good beef aint. Lets appreciate each others artwork and strive for proffessionalism. The reason you see others struggling to come out is because of the lack of unity. Lets share ideas and build a foundation that we can make a living from.

In addition to that we must give props to people like Taeni Real, Carlito(Ynot), Obie and Jayden, Tulisan, Kallo, Kalux, Preezy, Salmi Enkali, VirmosBar for contributing to make this profitable so far so this is stil peanuts. So Thus no beef

(Artist-RnB/Afro-Pop)
Uhm i think its really unnecessary since we from one town and need to stand together not turn against each other! We're supposed to build the town's music and put Otjiwarongo on the map. We should help each other because we all are not good at everything and we need one another. Its really a painfull thing to see fellow men not getting along. :-(

Blizz Videos
(Producer-Videos)
Chai looking at them and seeing how they going on about beefing shows they are not matured I myself knows a few of them that talk behind my back and pretend infront of me but the thing is you all not there yet some of you not registered, stop bluffing and prove us wrong with your work, go out and work, let the people from other towns know then comes the beef. They are all broke a** niggers, Blizz works with everyone its business for me not beef so if you can't join me bite it.

Anyways theres no beef just that Otjiwarongo is small and everyone wants to do music and its resulting in people not wanting others to progress or succeed. And I personally think when it comes to music guys are buying face, acting to be cool but talking sh*t behind ur back so ja MAN IN SY BAN and see you on top

Keith Flykidd Toomar
(Artist-RnB)
My view on this is that some niqqas are envious of other niqqas succsess. They always player hating because sh*t works out for someone else and nat 'em #Nufsaid

Dynamite Dominic
(Artist-Rapper)
For me it's just childish we need to support each other do the thing we love doing, MUSIC, lets unite and learn to appreciate our talents and not hate.

Prince PreezyBeatz Mweti
(Producer-Instrumentals)
Lets get straight to the fact, jealousy is the issue here, and that's the bad energy that is keeping the music art from growing. Its all about who's the best at this or who's the best at that. The moment any artist in Otji does a nice track and gets a little buzz going, there's always people that come out and try and put the artist down. Too much hating can make you an addict, and right now there are a lot of addicts, lol. Instead we should learn to support. If something is good i'll let it be known. For now I'll advise artists to just work hard in silence, accomplish your goals, do great music, stay silent even when someone wants to beef with you, and most importantly stay very humble and let the music do all the talking for you. I'm also keen on working with artists in Otjiwarongo, so serious artists should halla. Already have some good packeges for few artists already done. There's alot of talent in Otjiwarongo and now is the right time to bring it out. But first lets humble ourselves, thats the key. So good luck to everybody.

In conclusion nothing will ever get resolved if we act as if we were still 5 year olds arguing over a piece of candy. Music is a sign of happiness and if yall beef yall aint loving the music. Beef isnt part of Music never was atleast not in the way yall administer it.
in short YOU BEEF YOU SUCK!!
im Out..
